Lake: Season's Greetings Review (Spielerseele)
Just like the main game, the DLC is not about the end of the world, violence or deaths. It is about the small, everyday interactions between people. Relationships, problems, a few secrets, fighting the boredom and trying to make ends meet are again the main focus of the plot lines. There is one major difference, though: While "Lake" was all about arriving in the small town to retreat and learn to love it as a cozy paradise, "Seasons's Greetings" is more about the question what could bring you to the point were you might wish to leave it. With the new characters introduced like Meredith' parents Emily and Thomas (who will be the one you play) just as the really likeable character of Beth, this becomes pretty obvious. Additionally, other characters like a camera team trying to make a documentation of P.O. add to the experience -the cute and witty Ilsa must be my new favorite character in the game at all.
If you liked the slow go and peaceful pacing of the original, this is 100% for you.
