Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society Review (Mace)

It's Labyrinth of Refrain, with a different story. I personally loved that game. And, so far, I'm into this one. It's a good dungeon crawler with some fun customization. It's not quite Etrian Odyssey level strategy or difficulty, but it sates the thirst. At least until EO 1/2/3 HD get here in June.
Positives:
Fun story
Tons of voice
Good VA
Lots of gear
Great art
Animated enemies
Negatives:
Only 6 classes at the start
Can feel grindy and quests can feel samey - i do remind myself that it's a dungeon crawler...
Some additional things to know.
The game is paced very slow at the beginning and it maybe feel pretty vanilla as skills are automatic and you don't have any control of said skills. You will unlock some "magic" (donum) that uses donum points, via covenants. A covenant gives a character access to selectable skills. You'll unlock higher tier covenants as you progress. There's quite a bit of loot, though items just really tier up and don't randomize. I'm not sure the level of theorycrafting you can do or level of synergy that may exist, but I think it'll be deep enough for for even a mildly hardcore DC fanatic. The devs even say you can create a group of 40. Which is pretty insane. Though managing a group that large may be overwhelming. It should be noted that you can auto attack your group, which still procs built in skills, or have characters do individual actions. It's not annoying like Experience Inc. titles as those make you confirm nearly all actions.
Anyway, so far it feels more of the same, which in my opinion is a good thing. Recommended! Though, more to come.
