Kingdom Rush Vengeance Review (Moji' Bun)
The fourth installment of the series, and it's starting to change the vibe a bit compared to Origin and Frontier (peak).
The game is goofier than before, still has gore, but the design is more cartoony. The balance of cartoon and gore is so good. Enemies feel funny (in a good way) and memorable; there is a variety of them, and every stage feels different compared to the alliance.
The towers in this game are creative. Ironhide is always nailing the design of towers; this one might be one of the best. For free towers, there are the Melting Furnace, Specters Mausoleum, Rocket Riders, etc. Also, the premium tower in this game is good too. I recommend you buy the PC version to get it all so you don't have to buy it like you buy it on the phone.
The difficulty is ok for the campaign stage; it's mostly a smooth ride, and I think Iron mode should limit what heroes to use because it's a bit too easy if you can bring the OP dragon everywhere and ruin the challenge. The good one is the elite stage. It's fun and challenging with new enemies and new gameplay.
The DLC is worth it. There are 2 DLCs: Hammerhold and Pirate Kings. Both are good. The enemies are brand new; no use from the campaign.
The Hammerhold you will meet old face from frontier some with old design (doesn't change much). still good and OMG Alric is so cool; the design is not to come back and be goofy like some old characters.
The Pirate King, do you remember Buccaneer's Den? YES, it's back, but we play as the villain. They capture the design so well; every stage is a boss fight with their own boss and enemies. the last stage is boss rush Every stage is challenging in its own way.
And that's it. I'm not good at writing a review, but this game is so much fun to play in free time. Hope you enjoy the game. Good luck!
