Kindergarten 2 Review (nolsgoals)
I have a lot nostalgia for the first two games in this series from watching many playthroughs when i was younger, and recently i have gone back to play them for myself. This game is an amazing sequel, and is much better than the first game. It expands so much on the first game by adding a bunch of new characters, more endings, more unlockables, more in depth puzzles, more rooms, and fleshing out the monstermon cards so much more. The new characters are really good, and the writing is really funny just like the first game. One of my favorite things about this game is how they expanded upon the monstermon cards. In the first game they were just collectibles which were just decoration in your room, i thought it was a little lame how in the first game none of the cards had full art and you also aren't able to play with them. However in the sequel they all have full card art and your able to challenge characters to card battles with them, with each character having a different deck and deck theme.
While I do believe this sequel is much better than the first game, i must admit their are things that were done way better in the first game. I felt the villain of this game was much weaker than the one in the first game. The villain of the first game, the principal had a big suspicious presence throughout the first game. He had something to do with the missing kid, was distributing pills to students/staff, had hidden cameras and bombs in the schools, and also shot the player when they disobeyed. From just the first day it made the player aware there was something weird going on with the school, and the principal is behind it in some way. In the second game the villain really has very little hinting towards them being suspicious through most of the game and endings. Even with that being said i do really like the villain of the second game and i had a lot of fun with the true ending, and final boss sequence. If you liked the first game you'll love this game.
