James Cameron's Avatar: The Game Review (DJ18)

Ah Avatar, the highest grossing movie of all time. But not here to talk about the movie. James Cameron's AVATAR The Game is a third person shooter that takes place a little over 7 years before the movie. The game does have some familiar characters from the movie as well as many new ones. There is two stories to the game. You start off as a RDA soldier and eventually come to a decision to either become a Na'vi or stay as a human. Whichever dicision you make at that point will lead you on that story path wheather it be Na'vi or Human. Like most movie games I was not expecting much. Though I must admit. I like having two story lines which adds a little more replay value to the game. I was also suprised about the graphics. They are pretty impressive. Support for Direct X 10 and even 3D. The game can get redundant however there is a lot of weapons and uniforms that you can unlock to keep you going. This is a game that I enjoyed but probably might not be suited for everyone.
