Hunt: Showdown 1896 - Commedia Della Morte Review (Rumstache)
Hunter skin is awesome (although his lack of facial features around his exposed mouth kinda freaks me the hell out. Gives me the total heebs.) Very excited to add a hybrid of Jhin and Victor Saltzpyre to my list of favorite legendary hunters.
Really excited and grateful to finally get a nice winfield marksman skin, it's been a long time coming. I've always really liked the high class, undamaged, expensive yet simple looking weapon skins (the pearl, ten paces, Augusta, Last Estate, Calamity Jane, Mountain King, Accomplice, Somnus, etc).
Got the DLC for 35% off in the anniversary bundle, skin was 10% off on release day purchased by itself; I appreciate the adaptive bundles which give players who enjoy supporting game content a little bit extra off the top.
As far as DLC / cosmetic content goes, I think Crytek offers a lot for what they ask for, and even their premium currency and event costs are pretty generous compared to other games. I think it's lame to see this cosmetic DLC review bombed when for the price and content, it really goes above and beyond. I think people will gather that from the actual written reviews.
If you have issues with Hunt itself, post those on the Hunt game review, but as for this DLC, I think the price is very reasonable by modern gaming standards, and I think the content is creative and unique. I really like Hunt's push toward more occult/supernatural/horror in their hunters and also enjoy the little backstories and trailers they put out for them.
