Humankind: Together We Rule Expansion Pack Review (RedRoh)
I 100% understand why this is made, mainly to help those who need to catch up and have small amounts of land and even to play tall. Here are some problems:
Demilitarization:
You can rack of leverage instantly with demilitarization on ANY territory for FREE. This is way too overpowered and gives those with diplomacy a severe advantage. This needs to be nerfed to where it only occurs in the owner's territory and any military of their own can contribute negative leverage. The demilitarization should cost as much as a new output in influence so it forces minimal uses.
Congress of Humankind:
I get it that having nations vote and the politics and giving those who are small with lots of leverage a fighting chance. But When someone is saying "Hey, give me your territory," it should be the whole community that imposes sanctions rather than forcing a full on war. I think this crisis can extend to the next stage where war can be initiated and make AI less likely to back it unless they hate the offender, but otherwise, war should be less likely to trigger.
It almost feels like a whole other dev team got involved and made something without discussing anything with the fans.
This is an annoying DLC and NOT worth $20. At most, $1 for how simple it is and how much it punishes you for not taking a diplomacy culture. I want to love this game as it is better than whatever slop Sid Miers tries to feed us, but still. This game is unbalanced.
