House Flipper: Pets Review (suitkace)
the pets dlc for house flipper really doesnt bring a lot to the table. theres no new mechanics and the main focus of the dlc has literally nothing to do with house flipping. a good chunk of the furniture thats been added is pet related items– cages, food/water bowls, pet beds, etc. other than that, theres some cottage-y furniture and decor.
you can adopt various pets, some of which you can take on jobs with you. sure, its cute for a little while, but it quickly becomes annoying. your pet generally lingers near you, which means they often get in the way of your remodelling. you can make them sit somewhere they wont get in the way, but then whats the point of bringing them if theyre just gonna sit away somewhere? of course, you can also just leave them at home if you dont want to bring the pets with you and deal with the hassle. but if youre anything like me, you spend most of your time away from home, renovating places. so, whats the point of having a pet if youll never be around them? you can also dress up some of your pets and play with them. again, cute, but what does this have to do with house flipping?
overall, the dlc just doesnt seem like it shouldve been added. having animals is nice, and its cool to be able to include pet items in homes, but the dlc just really has nothing to do with house flipping.
