House Flipper: Pets Review (KillerMoyashi13)
This DLC solves one of the biggest problems with House Flipper - it feels pretty lonely sometimes! At first I thought that having a pet follow me around would be cute, but not really add anything to the game. I was in for a surprise when I got to see how many interactions and animations they gave to the pets!
My cat constantly has such happy expressions. He's jumping on stuff, sleeping on clients' beds (obviously to test for comfiness), hanging out in the window sill. Outside of my own house, he gets his own hat (there's lots of hats to choose from). Not only does the game not feel lonely, but my cat just seems happy to be there and I love how he interacts with the rest of the game. It's awesome!
The thing that I was expecting to criticize was going to be the husbandry. Like, I was expecting that the bird cages would be those dinky circular cages, or that fish tanks would be fish bowls. Stuff that generally isn't great for animals, but most people don't know any better. But no! I'm honestly pretty impressed by how big the enclosures are, and how they aren't glorifying stuffing animals in tiny cages. The people who made this DLC clearly care about animals and care about representing good examples of husbandry. And I'm thankful for that!
