House Flipper: Luxury DLC Review (Bob the B)

*CRITICAL REVIEW*
I do wish steam offered a rating system beyond yes/no.
Do I recommend this DLC? Absolutely! In my opinion this is the best DLC by far, offering a new challenge - not choosing between A&B like the HGTV DLC but allowing more freedom while still restricting you. Instead the clients give you a mood board and you have a limited selection of items to choose from based on that board. To me this is the optimal way to play a game like this. It's easy to make every house to your own tastes - unless you're achievement hunting to sell to a particular client but this has been flawed for the eternity of the game's existence (with walk-throughs on how to sell to the one guy with half destroyed walls not because he likes that but because it puts other clients off) - so those limitations add a welcome challenge for me.
That said there are glitches. Particularly with the "lousy contractors" job which I was unable to complete fully as there was an issue placing floor in one room and you don't get to choose furniture until after the walls and floor are complete.
*Making floor plans in lofts is also glitched!
I also don't like that there's a pretty strict order to complete jobs in. Worth noting that I haven't completed all jobs in the new world so this might lessen a bit after completing the 'tutorial' parts but with a fairly small number of jobs to complete after this it could feel a bit cheap.
New houses to flip are always welcome, especially given the copy and paste starter homes the base game offers in early days. I haven't gotten around to buying any yet as I'm taking my time in this play-through to give each home a thorough glow up.
In summary: yes, I recommend this DLC but is it worth full price? That depends on what you do with the game. If you like to complete the jobs and call it a day then probably not but if you're the type to buy and flip all the houses at least once then I'd recommend getting it on sale if not full price. This DLC offers a good variety of new items and new homes ranging from boats to lofts and no doubt beyond.
