House Flipper: Garden DLC Review (Argus)
I can recommend this DLC. I always felt that the house itself is cool and all, but we have such a huge garden and we can't do anything about it - now we can! There are several new jobs, some better than others, but the most important to me is that I can customize my garden the way I like it. There are, however, some features that annoy me.
PROS
- you can finally use your garden
- there are houses for bats! <3
- adds new jobs that vary in themes
- when you sell the house, the garden can up the price a bit...
CONS
- ... but you have to win the contest to up the price, and entering it costs money as well. It's a gamble.
- you cannot plany huge trees such as birches - you can see them in other houses, you can chop them down, but not add them to your own garden.
- the first time I saw the mole I almost got a heart attack - fixed later, now you have to tick that you want to see it
- that being said, moles appear in your starting location only as far as I noticed, there is never a job requiring it - which is strange seeing how seeing the mole holes is in your skills.
- grass in the roll is giving me hard time every time I use it - if you put it in a spot where it can't be unrolled, you just lost some cash. Also, some jobs require you to unroll it and there often are some remaining % that you didn't cover but can't find.
All in all, I recommend the DLC, even if just to be able to utilize the space you already have.
