Hollow Knight is by no means an 'easy game'. I'd argue that it can be harder than dark souls, especially for players new to the genre. It has unique enemies with different attack patterns throughout the entire game. Juggling enemies with some of the platforming elements definitely can increase the difficulty. I'd put it in the "Dark Souls" category if you're new to the genre and "Hard" or even "Normal" for someone with experience in Metroidvania's

The game has some of the most beautiful art I've seen. Every new area you go to feels completely different. Pairing the beautiful scenery with enemies with a colour palette to match really brings the game to life. I couldn't stress enough how pretty this game is.

Similar to the graphics, the music in this game is just incredible. Entering a new area for the first time and hearing the area's music really brings you a sense of "Woah". It has some of my favourite boss OST'S from the last 10 years.

Hollow Knight does have an incredible story for those who look for it. Whilst there isn't many cutscenes and guidance, every new character you meet actually has personality and isn't just a "Filler NPC". Everything in the game has meaning, from the countless Lore stones, enemies/bosses and the player itself. Hollow Knight is filled to the brim with hidden lore and secrets explaining everything that's going and has gone on in the world of Hallownest.

For what you get out of this game, I would 100% recommend getting it. I'd quite happily spend £25+ on this game. It's such an incredible game that I would argue, upped the quality of metroidvania's, so for the price? Yeah, it's a no brainer.

The length can definitely vary from player to player. I remember my first 112% save taking me just short of 30 hours and I did have some experience in similar titles beforehand. However, it could definitely take a lot longer or even a lot shorter depending on Skill Level.

I could not stress enough how everyone needs to at least try Hollow Knight. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's an experience you have to take part in. The world of Hallownest is just so full of life with amazing bosses and their 10/10 osts to go with it. Being stuck on a boss for a while and beating it? Entering a new area for the first time? I've never been bored playing this game.

Hollow Knight is a game that I always go back to after a few months. There's so much hidden lore and secrets around Hallownest, that even after 20+ playthroughs, I still find hidden walls and lore.

As previously mentioned, Hollow Knight is such an incredible game. From it's incredible rich enviroment's, amazing bosses and a deep story, the game is almost a must for anyone that play's games. With Silksong hopefully just around the corner (pls), this is the perfect time to give the game a chance if you haven't already. (Or replay like I recently have).
I hope you enjoy this beautiful game as much as I do (:
