Hitman Go Review (Sleepyinahoodie)
This has been on my backlog for a long time and i finally got around to finishing it.
My actual playtime is 7.7hrs according to my steamdeck (runs great on deck BTW) but my Steam account on my PC is saying 4.2hrs I have no idea why, just thought I'd point that out.
I love puzzle games, I love Hitman and I love playing board games (so the aesthetic really appealed to me) however this game is just boring and tedious.
There was so many times where the camera was on a weird angle (the camera is constantly fighting you to re-centre itself it's annoying) and i'd press the wrong direction by mistake and because this game doesn't have a undo button you have to restart the entire level again.
Not a big deal in the early levels but when you get to the late stages and you have to complete an objective within 40 moves and you're on move 35, yeah it's infuriating having to restart your entire run again.
Just give us undo button that works once every 2 moves simple.
I would prefer to give this a neutral rating but since Steam doesn't have one 'don't recommend' it is.
Game runs well, it is a great podcast game but it quickly becomes repetitive and boring and then eventually tedious when the later levels become a game of moving left and right 8 times in a row now move up and now move left and right another 6 times.
I won't lie I used a guide for the last 3 boxes because i got so bored.
Getting every achievement wasn't hard but it wasn't fun it's a game of repeat the same level like 20 times but it didn't take long so I can't complain too much.
