Hitman Go Review (Micktory)
At first you will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and simplistic design. However, that soon becomes extremely boring. You continue to play in hopes that more and more depth and mechanics are added in. There is some slight development in the way of obtaining disguises in the levels which allow you to get by guards wearing the same colour. But thats' it.
And then you realise that beating a level or not, basically revolves around you wasting your turns'. And you simply have to trial and error how many turns you will waste so the guard moves out of the way. It far too easy and requires minimal intelligence. As an analogy;
It's like going to an 'escape room', but instead of figuring out how to get the door open to the next room, you just shoulder barge the door 10 times and break the door open. It may be the most efficient way, but it just isn't satisfying.
The overall presentation, the visuals and the sound design, is unique and pretty good. And those are easily the best qualities of this game.
