Help Will Come Tomorrow Review (Peachy Keen)
If it were cheaper, I'd recommend it (and almost did). I got it on clearance for $4 and am happy with the purchase. But I wouldn't be if it had been more than $10. The content is just too limited to justify the full price. "This War of Mine," which people have compared this game to, is priced the same, $20. But there is way more content in that game. This game is more similar to the phone app game, "Survive," where the gameplay is just making choices, resource management, and crafting, and that's all there is to the strategy. In "This War of Mine," the strategy depends on the different maps, characters, some gameplay, and dumb luck. In this game, the strategy is basically the same regardless of map or characters. The different characters are different, but it doesn't much affect how you strategize. In addition, "This War of Mine" has the option to make characters, maps, and different starting combinations of characters. There's also a lot more to the gameplay. It has more replay value, so long as one can deal with how depressing the game is. This game is just as depressing, but has more repetitive gameplay.
So I think this game is just priced too high. There's more to "TWOM" all around, and it's also a beautiful game in its aesthetics, writing, and story. You get way more bang for your buck with that game.
