Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Deluxe Edition Review (Suzy~💗)

This game is so cute, cozy, and so rewarding.
I’ve been playing HKIA for more than a year so far, never got bored, it sparkles with lots of quests story-related, exploration, customization, daily activities, weekly challenges, and events.
Taking care of the island and shaping it thru reviving its places making it the perfect cozy Island for you and the cutest Sanrio residents.
Not sorry, but the latest release of *that* crossing game has nothing to do with how beautiful this game is, it’s a similar experience but much more amplified and full of things to do.
I was playing the game for months on my phone, but I assure you, this was NEVER A PHONE GAME.
I was so into it and couldn’t believe how well made this is, this is definitely an AA cozy game and I’m SO GLAD IT CAME OUT ON CONSOLE & Steam too!!! Was waiting for this release, and got it on Steamdeck too :) !
🩷Got the deluxe edition, which I think is a must for us longterm players. It contains everything for starting the game ready and keeping up more easily with the quests with resources, bouquets 💐 (they’re like powerups) and all the outfits & furniture you might miss from the past years & events. If you’re an existing player from appl*, this is definitely worth it.
If you’re a new player, the deluxe edition adds LOTS of outfits and furnitures from the last years which some are not obtainable anymore cause they’re from past releases,
plus lots of resources you get as a gift in the beginning which you need during the game, making it easier proceeding thru the quests & gifting residents for leveling them up. So it’s up to you as a new player. Resources can be collected anyway, powerups bouquets 💐 you still receive them but very rarely, I think the best thing are all the outfits & furniture which are collector-wise. You get all the deluxe expansion pack stuff at the beginning with the new update.
As for the Steam (&console) release, it’s so pretty. Exactly like the original. It was a little while I stopped playing on my phone waiting for the Steam release, and they constantly updated the game implementing things which are new even for me, new locations, new dynamics, and polished the menu and gameplay. Works great on Steamdeck, functions with touchscreen as well.

Summarise, this game has a great plot, you got quests plotwise, decorations, fishing, creatures, plants, building, friendship, online coop with friends, it’s one of the best cozy game. This is *that* crossing but made better!!
