Heavenly Bodies Review (Dante8402)
TLDR: Have you ever wanted to be unable to do anything right as an astronaut? To realise you're sounding like a blubbering idiot in outer space? To want to toss your friends out of airlocks for the sheer joy of hearing them freak out? If it's the case, then this game just might be for you.
Story: There's no story per se, you're just sent to space to fix up a shuttle that is a ''bit'' of a fixer upper.
Gameplay: This is a physics based game best played with a controller and is playable with up to 4 players LOCAL.
Remote play together really helps on this one, especially since there are only 7 missions and the game does not support online (Remote play together is a free feature offered by steam that allows you to play with a friend without them having purchased the game, it's a bit like streaming, look into it)
While playing with more players can make light work of some situations, it can also make things a lot more difficult (and funny) in some others.
Left joystick and right joystick allows you to move the appropriate arm and the triggers allow you to grab. The bumpers are for them useless little meat sticks called legs, since you are, after all, in space. While you can bop yourself away from walls with them, they're most likely to get you stuck in air ducks and doors.
Each level brings their own challenges and that is where the fun is. For instance, one level requires you to go into outer space to go and forage asteroids to get some samples: there are many things to control here, the space shuttle, the mechanical arm, the drill, fixing the shuttle as it inevitably rams into debris. Playing with many people makes this an hilarious mess as everyone is trying to do their job at the same time.
Graphics: Nothing amazing here, just good enough to do the job.
Audio: A relaxing track tends to the ambience and the heavy lifting is done with small cues of sound effects to let you know if you've done something right... or terribly wrong.
Definitely best played with friends who don't have raging issues.
