Heavenly Bodies: Cleanup Review (Communist Gangster Computer God)
The base game was great because each tool/new item was scarce, each one was fun to mess around with especially with in coop modes. Each new chapter was, at it's core, an an entirely new experience with some repeated items or quirks of levels, but nothing too repetitive.
The Cleanup DLC felt clunky, claustrophobic, and more of an annoyance to get around the space station and through all of the levels. Having to clip 4 tools to your jetpack to complete the mission makes you feel even more like a 67' cadillac with no power steering. I know part of the fun of the game is the struggle with movement, but all of the tools necessary takes it from a funny goof to watch someone flounder around to just a straight pain.
Additionally, at it's core, the gameplay loop was repetition. While the puzzles were different in specific parts, repeating the same loop twice with the only difference being increased travel time between points of interest and what tools are required to solve the puzzles was disappointing.
During my playthrough of the base game, I was always excited about what could come next in the story, and what a new chapter brought. With this DLC, I was more excited for it to be over that what would come next. Not recommended for purchase
