Heavenly Bodies Review (ChildoftheKoRn)
Not a game for everyone, but will explain why its a game for me and why I recommend it, based on my very first playthrough.
First off the basics directly related to the game, graphics were perfectly fine for me, seems well optimized, steam remote play did have a couple of issues here and there, but nothing we couldn't work around.
I usually go by a $1/hr rule when purchasing a game, by default. Exceptions are made for highly entertaining games, whether great story or just an insanely fun time. If a game gives me such a value, I'll gladly make an exception. In this case i spent $20 and got about 4.5hrs of playtime out of this game on the easy setting in a two player runthrough. There are options for harder difficulties related to how the physics interact which I would like to test/try.
My friend and I had a blast at the level of detail in the game, the hilarity of the navigation, our impromptu physics based jank space fist fights as we attempted to blow each other out of airlocks, navigate the map, complete the various tasks or otherwise other shinanigans. While we were repeatedly brought to tears from how hard we were laughing at the various outcomes of our impromtu fights, our SO's were laughing at our reactions and various shittalk we'd levvy at each other (while we were having fun, those not familiar with us would think we hated each other).
Overall I had an absolute blast, and even if the game is relatively short, there is replayability and I would love to see either additional content added, whether DLC or sequels (although preferably free future updates). It was insanely fun to play. This is the first game i actually decided to use a controller with a PC game, and as a primarily Keyboard/mouse user, i'd highly recommend it, if available.
