Heaven Island - VR MMO Review (Obey the Fist!)

Heaven Island - VR MMO is barely a game. It's more of an asset flip, as you wander around a mostly empty island populated with Unity assets the developer presumably stole from somewhere so he could churn out this minimum viable product and dump it quickly on Steam to try get your money.
There's basically nothing to do in this train wreck but wander around the asset flipped island and look at stuff.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The software assets are far from bleeding edge, with lowish polygon counts and somewhat low resolution textures, making this look like it's at least 10 years old. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks poor in comparison to more professionally produced games as a result of their decisions.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the software unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
The software is very badly optimised, with low framerates and janky gameplay even on a high end rig. Developers must take the time and polish their games and ensure they are optimised and will play well on any potential customers system.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the software is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Heaven Island - VR MMO has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the software absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for collecting some shells, trivial to achieve, but less than 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the software. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
This software features a number of fake positive reviews. They're all written in the same broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the software launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the software. The "Positive" review score on this software should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
Heaven Island - VR MMO is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the software, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
