Hearts of Iron IV: Allied Armor Pack Review (omicron62)
Pro's:
- You get a good number of new tank sprites
- The sprites themselves look pretty good
Cons:
- Price tag of €6 is way too high, considering you have to give up €130 / 139USD for the base game + necessary DLC containing core mechanics (Starter pack + By Blood Alone, No Step Back, Man the Guns, La Résistance)!
If you want to add the 'non-essential' (focus trees, cosmetic and music) DLC that comes up to €190/203USD.
So basically, cosmetic packs like this should be either have more content or they should be cheaper.
- This DLC doesn't seem to be fully compatible with No Step Back When designing a tank, the game doesn't allow you to choose the appropriate model for both your individual tank sprite and your division sprite.
Verdict: 4/10
Not really worth the price tag.
