This game was a wild ride!! Like at first you look at it and you think, okay sure. Let's date some birbs, no biggie! But my god does this game have so many twists and details!! And the details up, each route you play leads you ever slowly towards putting the pieces together about the world and the characters and how everything is connected. The story in this funny little bird otome is actually better written than really almost any piece of media I've engaged with to date. This is up there in my top 10 stories and currently at the top of my list of favorite games! I cannot stress enough how well things come together, this little romance game turns into a full blown mystery in the secret ending (which isn't a spoiler because we all know otomes usually have some hidden route).
I played the game with a game guide open just to ensure I got the right choices to progress through each route with minimal time wasted. If you want the story fast then that's what I would suggest you do as well. But if you don't mind taking the time to really experience this game then I would suggest playing it blind and paying extra attention to the dialogue and the changes made between routes or alternate dialogue within routes. It's a fun game even when it pulls the rug out from under you!
