Guns of Icarus Online Review ([ME] etneveL)
Guns of Icarus Online is a FPS, coop multiplayer game, where you controlling and managing fly ships and go battle with them.
I really like the gameplay. You can make your own flying ship with different base types and weapons or equipment with. On the ship, there are different posts which means you need to do certain activities to keep yourself alive, not even mentioning your different equipment you can bring to the deck. It's really fun in general, of course if you get into a good crew, or if you know others in it. The game looks all right in general, except some effects, which look a bit old by now. The faction system and the other background systems are really good for this game, especially what the DLC also holds, because you get more chance to make your faction better and gives you bot matches too. Sound wise the game is okay in general.
However, even though this game is really fun, what really (and sadly) brings it down, it's that this game is multiplayer only, and sadly the multiplayer is quite dead. It's really difficult to find someone to play with in general. Also, the game is bit hard to get into, and especially to master it, so get ready for that. Some multiplayer system feels weird in general and sometimes the game is really unfair with hit detection. The story is not really what focused in the game, which for me is a bit sad, because I wanted to know more about this game.
Long story short, I really like this game, it can be really fun, but sadly because of the dead multiplayer, I can't recommend the game, not even with your friends. If this game come back to alive somehow, then thiis is going to be a must need game for sure and you could get it on sale easily.
