Grim Dawn Review (Karvana)
"Grim Dawn" is an action role-playing game with real-time combat mechanics. Our story begins in a time where humanity struggles to survive among ghosts and creatures resembling demons. Our player character strives to rescue the people on the brink of extinction.
The main game features 6 character classes, expanding to 9 with DLCs. Players can choose to specialize in a single class or combine the powers of two to create their own style of character. In addition to their own skill tree, characters have a second skill tree called Devotion. To progress in this second skill tree, players need to reach certain areas on the map. The game boasts numerous dungeons and mini-events, encouraging players to replay the game multiple times due to the variety of dungeons and skill trees.
The main drawback of the game for me is the overall "ugliness" of the graphics. Despite being nearly flawless in terms of mechanics, the game often falls short artistically. Another challenge I encountered while playing was that some sections weren't well-aligned with the camera, leading to deaths without being able to see the enemies.
Overall, I don't recall ever getting bored during my time playing. If you're interested in the ARPG genre, "Grim Dawn" is definitely a must-play, ranking among the best in its genre.
