Great God Grove Review (PMJ_Apollo)
Graphics - 10/10, LimboLane's art-style is a perfect mix between old cartoons and Picasso's paintings. The colours are breathtaking and character design is outstanding
Gameplay - 9/10, brilliant mechanic and great utilisation, although the puzzles were confusing at times
Soundtrack - 7/10, arguably the weakest part of the game, but when it hits, it hits
Characters - 10/10, as always, LimboLane offers some of the best written and fleshed out characters in modern indie games
Story - 8/10, although the ending feels a bit rushed, it is still beautifully written just like the rest of this game
If you're looking for a story that challenges the brilliance of Undertale and it's close relatives, then Great God Grove is just the game for you. A solid 7-8 hours of gameplay if you want to check every dialogue and uncover every secret. Couldn't recommend it enough.
