Gravity Circuit Review (ItalianBronxGuy)

I have wanted to post a review for this game since I got it on release day but I was enjoying it so much that I wanted to 100 percent the game first before I did.
Ok so let me start by saying the obvious things to gather peoples attention, this game is similar to your platformers like Mega Man X and clearly draws inspiration from it. When I first started playing this game I instantly felt how smooth the movement and attacks felt and how it clearly has improved on so many of the hardware limitations that those snes generation games had back in the day. This game also adds unique features such as a grapple hook that you can attack enemies with but also traverse the levels with for movement. There is a super fun shop system with all different passive abilities you can buy but also a shop for attacks you can use. Mixing and matching with these alone is so much fun and adds so much replay-ability on top of a new game plus mode after you beat the game and also a unique circuit mode which uses your health as meter for your abilities.
Now I really want to talk about the soundtrack of this game, It is composed by Dominic Ninmark which if you are not familiar with I highly recommend you look him up on YouTube since he is known for his amazing euro-beat remixes of popular video game music and also for a completely original soundtrack for a fan project of Mega Man called Mega Man X Corrupted and another amazing game called Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider which is on steam if you are interested. This man is honestly one of my favorite video game composers to this day and it really shows in this game, It has such a catchy and upbeat sound to it that I find myself listening to it even when I am not playing the game. Each boss circuits theme song is so unique and different from each other and fits the tone of their levels so well. Dominic has posted the full soundtrack to his YouTube channel if you would like to listen to it before deciding if you want to purchase this game.
To finish this review off I would like to talk about the characters and story of this game which I know for these kind of games does not matter too much to a lot of people but I feel deserves to be discussed. To start off lets talk about the character designs, the art style does a great job of complimenting all of the characters super cool gundam-esque designs for each ally and enemy alike. Now for the story portion of the game I genuinely really like how interesting and unique it becomes over the course of the game. I don't want to spoil anything so overall I would just say its delivers the perfect amount of story in a game that is so focused on combat and speed.
So that's my review of this amazing game, I know its all over the place and probably not worded great but I am so passionate about this game and enjoy it so much I just had to post a review on it. To everyone who worked on it you did a fantastic job and I hope to see it become a series of games, but if not I will always appreciate this gem of a game.
