Graveyard Keeper: Stranger Sins Review (Garnam)

OK grind - you do like the grind, do you? Why would you play this game otherwise, but also some hidden information which is tedious to discover. Or look it up in the wiki.
I did not like the role of the protagonist in the story though. Different to the main game there are a number of actions where you clearly act in a bad way. And not in the funny, tongue-in-cheek bad way of the main game but just in an unimaginative, feeling rushed and unfinished, bad way. Such as repeatedly stealing from houses. At one time the owner of the house even asks you why he should let you in the house, you are only going to steal stuff. You convince him to let you in - and you are forced to steal stuff because the game does not allow any other possibility. And the stealing is never addressed by the owner or anyone, just total silence. No negative impact. It does not even matter whether the owner is present while you loot the quest item from his belongings.
A lot of the tasks also feel like the story was written by someone with very little imagination. Or time. So many missed opportunities. When you have the option to dig up a corpse from a derelict grave for a ring - why not make it a task to embalm the body appropriately, bring it and the grave to a certain level and then get a "Thank you" from the grieving husband? No, you just dig up the corpse, loot the ring from the corpse and nothing else seems to matter. No mention of your action ever going forward (that I was able to find).
