Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Review (bweans)
Another Arc Sys title another host of PC issues ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE KEYBOARD
1. Changing keyboard bindings for battle will change the button guide in menus but not actually change the keyboard menu controls (Ex: Despite the menu saying to press L to view details, you STILL have to press ;)
2. No changing keyboard menu bindings (this one would be minor if the button guides were accurate)
3. ANY ACTION BOUND TO THE O BUTTON STRAIGHT UP DOESN'T WORK INGAME (I don't know HOW they fucked it up since it was working completely fine in the open beta)
4. Fidelity is worse than console (this one is also minor and fixable with config files but it shouldn't be neccesary to edit config files in the first place)
Bonus: No Regional Pricing. Depending on where you live the price for Rising can be absurd. Thankfully I live somewhere than doesn't get impacted by this but other people aren't so fortunate
I really didn't want to leave a negative review considering how much fun I had during open beta. The rollback was amazing. I didn't have any binding issues and the core game was simple but fun. However, the numerous issues launch day PC port has cannot be ignored. Shame Rising is another "Bad Arc Sys Port" especially considering how solid OG GBVS's port was.
