Golden Idol Mysteries: The Spider of Lanka Review (D3va)
Lets start by saying that i am glad they release more content for this awesome game. After finishing the base game the only thing i could think was, i wish there was more content. I think this is an awesome formula and i hope they keep using either for more dlc or a completly new game.
Now lets get into the DLC review. The dlc consists of 3 new chapters , which will take most people 2-3 hours to b eat. The first chapter is more of the same (similar to the early missions of the base game, one room only) its good and feels good too but you gonna finish it quicly. Tthe second chapter is a bit more unique exploring new ideas(riddles) and i think its the peak of the dlc. Its feels long enough and feels good when you finish it. The third and last chapter is the weakest in my opinion simply because its not challenging enough. The reason is not as challenging as the other 2 chapters is because it doesnt use the enviroment or events that happen in this chapter. It asks you to write what happened in the chapters before which you already have knowledge for. You only have 2 questions to answer other than that and they are way too easy to figure out or answer.
Also i want to also say that there is a banger track playing throughout the dlc which is awesome and added it to play spotify playlist, I whish they had the base game sound track too on Spotify.
Overall i have to say that this is a good attempt for a dlc and the asking price is ok for wha it offers. Personaly i just wish it was longer because i just love this type of game so much.
