Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire Review (Pod)

This DLC adds time, which is a nice bit of spice to the game.
Both DLC up the ante from the base game and require you to think about more things and retain more of the puzzle pieces at the same time, which means they're more complicated to figure out, whereas the main game keeps it at a decent level. You'll almost wish you had pen and paper to hand in Lemurian Vampire, as there's always one or two extra bits of information you need to retain than I could comfortably handle. It's a shame the game doesn't have an in-built way to make notes.
DLC 1 is better than 2.
Both are a bit too short for their price tag. But you'll know after playing the base game if you're hankering for more or not, and these don't disappoint. But it's recommended you play them straight after the first as you'll be in the swing of things and ready for the difficulty jump.
2 is far too "on the nose" with the expodumping and in some cases is a garbled mess. Everything about "The Vampire" seems to make no rational sense, imo. The puzzles are just as good though.
