Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire Review (Krambir)
Another solid addition to the base game and its story; the Lemurian Vampire connects the story of The Spider of Lanka and the base game, and manages to make the DLCs and the base game into one complete story. The three cases that come with this DLC are the hardest content for the game (maybe not the first case, but definitely the later two) by a large margin. This DLC keeps everything great about the base game, but I would say that the puzzles are a bit less interpretable and that this is definitely weaker than the previous DLC and the base game. There are several parts that I only know are correct because I brute forced them. After finishing the cases I tried to go back and look for what clue would have told me the answers and I still haven't figured them all out. While this doesn't ruin the great underlying puzzle mechanics, it puts a bit of a sour ending on a great game. While I did still enjoy myself overall, the issues with this DLC make this a much more lukewarm recommendation compared to the rest of the game.
The DLC took me about 3.5 hour to beat, and was needed to 100% the game (about 10 hours total).
