Golden Idol Mysteries: The Lemurian Vampire Review (Armagedon)
The Lemurian Vampire suprised me in a very positive way. I thought this DLC would be overcomplicated and not very fun to play, however it turned out to be incredibly fun.
This DLC serves as a prequel to base game but a sequel to The Spider of Lanka, following the fate of Zubiri Kerra and others from Raja's court from Spider of Lanka.
Again, there are new animations, worldbuilding and fleshing out characters, just like in the last DLC, however I think The Lemurian Vampire was executed much better than The Spider of Lanka.
There's now a timeline, as shown in the trailer, which suprisingly, doesn't overcomplicate any of the cases and rather serves as a nice feature. The twist at the end was really cool, it didn't feel baseless like the other DLC.
Unlike The Spider of Lanka, I'd say that The Lemurian Vampire is worth the money, especially because you support people that clearly put a lot of work into their projects and probably listen to their fans, given how much better this DLC is out of the two.
