Goat Simulator: Remastered Review (GoatLord)

This might come as a surprise but.. It's basically the same game as the original but with a graphical upgrade, shocker, I know.
There are some upside/downsides though, which is which is up to you:
- Obviously the graphics look better, though I personally feel that the game feels a bit saturated but that's just my personal opinion.
- The game retains a lot of the funny buggy nature of the original, maybe with some new ones too? However this remaster does have a few bugs which unlike the original, don't feel intentional and kind of break the game. As an example, there is an area in the game you need to enter to unlock a new goat, however whenever I would enter that area my goat would simply be flinged into the wall, ragdol and fall through the floor only to be respawned somewhere else. This happened every time I entered that area, preventing me from unlocking that goat.
- Unlike the original, this remaster has no workshop support, which is a shame because the workshop was one of the best parts of the original.
- There still is no online co-op.. Considering Goat Simulator 3 has it, I figured it would be a no brainer but seems they decided against it.
- Some jokes have been removed from the remaster, ones that weren't too family friendly and have instead been replaced with family friendly ones.
So who is this game for? I'd say, people who played the original years ago and want a bit of nostalgia. That or people who never played the game and want to experience it for the first time as this game is a pretty good deal since you get all dlc's, including ones that aren't even available for purchase on Steam for the original.
That being said though, if you already own the original with all the dlc and don't feel any drive to replay it, there isn't really much reason to buy or play this as it's the same game. For everyone else though, I would recommend this game as it's a fun way to pass some time!
