Ghost Files: The Face of Guilt Review (Chime)
There are some definite leaps in logic with some of the solutions to just the general game play outside of the actual hidden object and puzzle portions. I think I actually laughed out loud when the solution to breaking a pad lock was to smack it with your LOADED GUN. Puzzles and Hidden Object portions are either comically easy or frustratingly difficult. When puzzles were frustrating there is no sense of satisfaction when you figure it out which makes it feel worse. A lot of this game has just left me feeling annoyed and like it's a chore.
Voice acting is particularly bad. The MC looks like a young woman, but sounds like she's like 80 years old or something. I don't usually leave reviews for HOGs, but this one is so bad I felt like I needed to go out of my way to say I don't recommend it. I'll still finish it because I can just leave it uncompleted.
