Garfield: Lasagna Party Review (Eggroll)

Garfield Lasagna Party is another Mario Party clone that misses out on everything that made those games so beloved and memorable. The party mode itself is a slow, boring drawn out slog to get through. The turns are long, and slow, the board is boring and uninteresting, and the mini games are forgettable and boring. On top of this there's only 4 playable characters, none of which have voice acting. This leads to a very boring play experience. For $30, there should be at least basic voice acting in a game like this. It's basically a necessity. If Garfield Kart could have basic voice acting, there's no reason this can't. The minigames, which should be the best part of a game like this are all pretty bad. There's only 32 of them, and some of them are the same exact game in just a different skin. The game's also tend to last way longer than they should. What should be a 30-45 second minigame is often stretched into a 90 second experience. Overall this game is just bad. Pass on it and if you really want a Garfield game, get Garfield Kart for like 2 bucks. For more reviews, follow my curator page.
