From Space Review (BlackjackGT)

Addictive, missions- and events-based top-down shooter with great diversity in space alien enemies as you progress though its campaign on eventually massive maps. The online co-op is great fun, but I think even all us fans would observe that its handling of MP gamesaves (especially if you're not the host) might need a rethink/revamp.
Very satisfying weapons to play with, and a wide assortment of powerful, deployable items, such as turrets, laser fences, electric trips, barbed wire and more. Lots of grenade weapons and mines and all matter of gizmos.
Six Specialists (classes) provide a variety of gameplay options. You can swap freely between these Specialists at Safety Zones. These choices aren't really 'characters' per se, so as you level up, ALL the specialists rise at that level; however, you only earn Perks (passive skills you may slot) as you actually play a Specialist class. So if you level up to 12 playing one Specialist type, and then switch, that "new" Specialist won't have any perks to start.
I thought maybe the "big headed kids" graphics look of the game wouldn't be my thing, but everything is so well animated and colorful, including the wide variety of pink - like a certain nausea-relief product :) -- space aliens, that I've already learned to love the look.

I realize a lot of fellow gamers are fretting about replaybility because of the handcrafted maps, but I've found that the optional Drop Pod Events and Capture the area modes and Destroy the Nest battles and Harvester instances help jazz things up a bit and feel fresh alongside all the missions. The maps are so huge -- after the smaller initial tutorial-type map -- and have so many nooks and crannies and side missions, you can lose yourself in them.
After the smaller initial prologue map, From Space expands into massive maps with lots of NPCs giving a wide variety of different types of mission goals and objectives.
I poured about 19 hours into the game opening weekend and couldn't tear myself away. :)
It sounds like the devs have some wishlist ideas for adding replayablity or separate gameplay modes, and I'm here for it. :)

Like others, I'd like to see a game browser and matcmaking options. It's just, the way only the host has an actual save of everyone's MP character in a session seems (imho) to make that a difficult system to pull off in a game browser and matchmaking et al. I'd also like to see some in-game communications, even if it's just maybe a few pre-set text comm macros.
