Forza Horizon 5: Rally Adventure Review (Marek)

If you’re into rally racing – or love drifting on twisty roads – Rally Adventure is a blast. Coming from a rally background myself, I was excited to dive in, and this expansion really delivers for casual and rally fans alike.
Pros:
– Rally-style navigation notes – it’s awesome they added callouts like in real rally racing. (I’d actually love to see this as an option in the base game too.)
– Fantastic tracks – the twisty roads are ideal for drifting, with tight turns, jumps, and plenty of challenges.
– Beautiful map – Sierra Nueva is stunning, with views that keep you coming back just for the scenery.
– New cars and upgrades – perfect for anyone looking to add more rally-capable rides to their garage.
Cons:
– Delayed callouts – the navigation notes feel a bit late for me.
– Lack of detail in navigation – I’m used to more precise notes in rally games, so I wish these had more specifics about the road ahead.
– Poorly positioned festival site – the site is set at the edge of the map, so if you want e.g. to tune your car, you’re in for a long drive across the whole map. And with all the hills, it’s not as quick and direct as in the base game.
– That helicopter! – it kicks up tons of dust, making visibility harder! And it’s distracting. I’d honestly prefer a co-pilot in the car.
Overall, it’s a good addition that brings a rally feel to Forza. If rally or drift is your thing, you’ll probably love it!
