Forgive Me Father Review (Skippy_35)

I love this game. Not only is the art amazing, but the game play is also very clean. Every weapon feels powerful, and there wasn't a single time where I ever felt a weapon was useless. In addition, the cut scenes are also well done. The sound track is top tier as well.
overall, 10/10
There's only a few things I'm going to nitpick here, though. (Mild spoilers ahead as warning like upgrades or other misc things if you care) First off, the knife. It's fairly useful early game, but after that I rarely used it. Now, that isn't bad, It's a knife after all, but the throwing knives felt incredibly clunky to use. I also kind of wish you could quick switch to the knife. When I was taken by surprise (while reloading the shotgun for example) you can only switch after the reload animation, but at that point in time why wouldn't I just blast it back to hell? The lack of react-ability with the knife is it's downfall.
next up is the Journalist. Her abilities were strong, no doubt about that, but the tight conditions for her abilities made it feel frustrating at times. The curse sword is cool as fuck, but I rarely used it past mid-game. The camera and voodoo doll also didn't see much action. I think I literally only used the camera once, but that might just be me not using either character's stun options ever. Overall, the priest was just way better and more fun to play due to the fact that you can just blitz through any obstacles.
Keep in mind, these are just nitpicks that are very insignificant; they are also just my thoughts, so take them with a grain of salt and in no way should they discourage anyone from getting this.
I'll end with my favorite part of the game: The enemy design.
Each enemy is cool in their own way (except for the fucking gremlins. The gremlins can burn in hell.). Additionally, there are also so many small details that add to the horror. The most stark example is the patient. The first time you see them, you start asking yourself questions and wonder what exactly happened.
Once again, a 10/10
