For the King II Review (TeeKay)

I 've played FTK1 for hundreds of hours, so I had great hopes for FTK2. But overall its a disappointment. I expect that the only players who will enjoy it are devs or others with all the cheat codes.
There are a lot of small problems that all add up:
1. Because the game forces you into a time crunch, one really important feature is the new "landboat". The game constantly urges you to use it but gives you no way to do so. If you look up the term in the encyclopedia it doesn't even have an entry. They seem to be taunting us with an as yet undeveloped feature.
2. Another commenter mentioned that there is no time for side quests. In spite of one dev's response to that problem it is still the case.
3. You level up mainly with battles, by picking fights with creatures that spawn. But they respawn so frequently in this version that oftentimes they disappear just as you approach. So you end up spending a lot of time running around uselessly, eating up valuable clock time.
4. The creatures that spawn are all at the level of your characters, at least apparently so. However, they mostly have armor and weapons that are superior to anything that is available to you. This is true even at the apprentice level of the game. So staying healthy becomes problematic to the point of impossible.
5. The main timeline requires that you work to decrease "chaos". If you get behind you lose the game. This can only be done by solving certain puzzles or accomplishing certain tasks. But the spawning of these puzzles is not something that you have any control over, and they are too few and too infrequent to make the game playable on any recommended setting.
I hope that they make some changes to improve what could be a great game. But right now it is all but unplayable.
