FIFA 23 Review (classical1)

For the love of God, don't buy this if you haven't already. I've sunk 100s of hours into every FIFA since 17, but this year's game is so bad I can't see myself getting much more, in fact I've outright deleted it off my pc. There's always something wrong or bad about a new FIFA game that comes out, but at some point you can get used to it and the game is still somewhat playable, not this time. 23 is just so outright horrid to play, game play is not consistent whatsoever and I can't remember having fun anywhere in the 36 hours I've played.
Passing is one of the worst parts of this installment, half of passes that you would think are easily make-able are somehow intercepted and through balls are almost useless, as they'll never go where you aim them or the defender will gain a random boost of pace to somehow catch up to your quick winger/striker. Opposition goalkeepers will save almost anything, even to the point where it looks like they're disobeying the laws of physics (quite literally they'll levitate off the ground without making any jumping motion to reach your shot), all while your goalkeeper will dive the opposite direction of a shot or not fully extend his arms out to make an easy save.
I could go on, and on, and on, and on, about how shameful this game is, it's easily the worst in the last 6 years, and that is saying something considering the quality of some of the past installments recently. It's just so bad, it should be considered a crime that I had to pay $76 including the tax, I should be able to sue for that. For the amount of money EA makes off the FIFA games, it's unacceptable they can put out garbage like this and slap a $70 price tag on it. Truth is no amount of money is worth this game, please do something else with that money, don't make my mistake where I wasn't even sure if I wanted it this year but caved in anyways. No chance I get a refund either since I've played over two hours, but this might be the worst money ever spent.
I haven't even gone into the bugs and horrible launch of the game, I literally had to mess with settings of my computer's motherboard to even be able to launch the game, because apparently some setting in there was switched on that wouldn't allow the game to start, and those types of things are delicate stuff that can mess with your computer if you do something wrong. I also had to go into game files and add a code so the anti cheat wouldn't perform a first time setup every time I opened the game, as in the anti cheat would try to install itself every time I would try to play the game despite it already being downloaded.
Also there is 100% scripting/momentum in FIFA, no matter what EA says. I actually believe it's the most blatant in this installment and a huge problem, besides the passing it's probably what frustrated me most, you can easily find proof of this on videos and online.
This is literally a warning, do not buy this game, do not buy any of their games, please. They can't keep getting away with this type of stuff. I never write reviews for anything, but I had to this time.
