Fashion Police Squad Review (BigHeadAss)
Overall, a pretty good game. There are some...Unique design choices that weren't super well thought out in my opinion.
The guns are pretty cool, though there isn't a ton of variety. 5 weapons in total, but one of them you get about 30 minutes before the end of the game, and it has limited ammo (unlike the other 4 in your arsenal).
The soundtrack is alright. Nothing really to write home about, but it definitely has the sound design of game that was made in the early 90s.
The idea of having certain guns only damage certain enemies is a cool but scuffed mechanic, in my opinion. It feels fresh at the beginning of the game, but after the novelty wears off, it very quickly starts to feel like each combat encounter is a chore.
Enemy design was fairly varied, though some of them are just bad, in my opinion. There are some enemies that get introduced in the last third of the game that will basically always damage you because their AOEs are usually about the size of the arena you're in and you can't always get high enough off the ground to avoid the damage.
The bosses were cool. There was only one, though, that did anything outside of what you already expected the game to and that boss was by far my favorite. The end boss left a lot to be desired and you were forced to take damage throughout almost the entire fight, which resulted in 2 resets for me, one by dying to the actual boss and the other by falling off the arena.
If I were you, I'd pick it up on sale. It's not necessarily a bad game, but it's for a very specific group of people in my opinion.
