Fallout Tactics Review (Meme Team!)

This game was pretty fun after a few hours of learning. While it was repetitive i did enjoy it, even after the difficulty spike with the super mutants. My problem lies in the last enemy type the robots, all my units had 15-20% energy skill since the skill is useless until the robots emerge on level 15 since there are no energy weapons dropped beforehand. Little did i know my sniper rifle and best assault rifles with guns skill over 100% would be useless against the last faction. Robots would have 106 hp and my sniper would do 1-3 damage a shot.... that is just the worst balancing i have ever seen. I had to rely on crits with my browning heavy machine gun to take out a robot within maybe 5 turns of shooting. keep in mind you are always at risk of getting one shot even in power armour in return. After getting to the great bend and seeing it takes all 6 of my troops 3-4 turns to take out one robot that can one shot us while fighting for their life and the level having like 40 robots.... yea i decided to quit. Its just some poor late game designs as they dont even ease you into the robot threat or let you get weapons to deal with them like the super mutants (most robots in the level dont even use energy weapons). And quite frankly, i dont feel like swapping my whole team or grinding for hours to put 70%+ more skill into everyones energy weapon skill and i dont want to farm reavers for energy weapons. This game isnt a skill issue but it is a chore to play. While i did have some fun in my early to mid levels the robots forcing you to be an energy or explosive build ruins any repeatability and goes against my fallout playstyle. I would place this game in E or F tier since i dont want to waste any more time with this game to even complete it even after sinking in 30+ hours. Im sure this late game is fun if you speck into energy weapons at the start of the game even tho you wont have any for 15 hours of gameplay.....
