Fallout 4: Contraptions Workshop Review (Tleno)
Out of all the Fallout 4 DLCs, this one is the most useless.
While blatantly influenced by many systems seen in other games, like redstone in Minecraft or Factorio conveyors, this one doesn't actually offer any reason to explore them beyond some amusements few would be up for, like building Rube Goldberg machines.
Like one big feature in this pack are conveyor belts and production machinery which are supposed to allow you to manufacture many ingame items in huge amounts. One problem? The setup is too costly to do it one off, there's no actual reason to actually mass-produce these items and investing resources into their creation. Could have been averted if this mod was to provide some means of passive resource generation, like collecting brahmin dung as fertilizer to make ammo out of, or larger scale scrap collection. But no, you get nothing new to use outside settlements from this! The new props are alright though, even if some like warehouse somewhat overlap with Far Harbor barns.
Waste of time to buy on it's own, very few items will be appreciated by most if whole package is bought.
