Honestly, it delivers on what I've wanted a farming sim to allow me to do for a LONG time. That's a plus for me, a minus for others, hence the "Mixed" reviews.
If you want a more relaxing farming game you can enjoy with others, this is a great option! I absolutely love the cottage core fairy elements of the game, along with the more streamlined approach to gameplay. That being said, it does differ from your average farming game because of that. It delivers a more relaxing type of farming game, and while a lot of people may find that off putting, I really like being able to dig into something that let's me turn my brain off at the end of the day by myself or while I talk to friends.
I can see the complaints people have with their preorder bonuses not coming through, and as someone effected by that, I hope that gets sorted out quickly. Gameplay wise I can personally say I've had no glitches or stutter on my end. It's been very smooth and I don't find the gameplay clunky, but alas, that comes down to personal preference. When it comes to the price, I think $39.99 USD is fair and WOULD NOT recommend the deluxe version to anyone right now.
One area the game could be improved is character dialogue and events. They feel a bit lacking, but I don't play these kinda games for relationships, I can just see that as an area that could use improvement.
TL;DR: It's a really cute game that has a unique sense of wonder and gameplay, and it's a blast to play with friends! However, if you expect the gameplay loop akin to Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons, it won't deliver on that front, which is good for me, bad for others.
