If you are just starting this game, 100% buy. If you are not yet in act 3, 100% buy. If you are in act 3 or already completed the game, and dont forsee replaying the game (1 and done) DO NOT BUY. If you are done the game and think this adds enough content to warrant buying, No. It doesnt.
I was mistaking in my first review. I expected to get some kind of never ending arena mode, and character integration into my main party perhaps through respecs, although it came with 1 free respec of the squad (due to talent changes) I was mistaken.
If you go to chapter IV, this is useless. You lose your praetorians and its just the main 6 ppl, none of which, are a gladiator. I was nearly done chapter 3 when this came out so I got about 5 battles with gladiators for my 8 bucks. I feel ripped off.
I guess what im most sad about is the sheer lack of addl content outside the 1 class, and nothing added beyond end game. Its designed with you replaying the game, which personally, I dont forsee myself doing. I rarely play a game again once I beat it. Im more inclined to play a moba or mmorpg daily vs replaying a storyline game.
Its a great game to play once, and there ARE alternate endings based on your actions, so there IS some replayability if you want to see alternate endings, but outside that, I feel more inclined to try Expeditions Vikings vs replay this.
I feel this definitely shouldve given you an act V based on your act IV ending.
Hopefully the devs will release a free update that adds to this.
DO NOT BUY if you are already in act 3, and only see yourself playing thru once.
DO BUY otherwise, and DO BUY if you just want to give the devs a bit more cash, because frankly, the base game is UNDERPRICED. Would buy at 100% all day long.

Id love to see an exact replica game with fantasy characters (druid spellcaster hunter warrior rogue necro etc) something less linear!
Love the game and hope a future clone comes out to scratch the itch of the fantasy player!
