Europa Universalis IV: Lions of the North Review (Krey_Lollipop)
There's a lot that can be said about this DLC, both good and bad. I for one adore all the new content, which just makes it all the sourer how much of it gets locked away as you play. Take the Teutons for instance, as soon as you complete your initial missions you HAVE TO decide which path you want to go down for the rest of the game. This in turn also determines your government form, which mechanics you'll have access to, where you'll get permanent claims etc.
But here's what's important: Knights of the Sword, aka the "Livonian Order Theme". This is the song that put tears in the eyes of Fader Berg. And it is always available for every country.
The only negative is that we didn't get a Guns, Drums & Steel cover of said song; preferably with a surf twist รก la Hic Svnt Leones, for when the black flag gets ascended to Heaven. No doubt split off to be sold as a separate DLC down the line...
