Euro Truck Simulator 2: Heavy Cargo Review (azgoodaz)
Is it recommended to buy? It's in the middle. If you have the money, yeah sure spend your money on it, help the developers. If not, wait until they fix/implement all the issues listed.
Overall, it's great DLC... The experience you will get when shipping these cargo items. Driving the different type of trailers/cargo around cities and trying to find the best route, etc.
What issues does the DLC have?

Issues:
Issue 1) XP
At the end of the delivery of a heavy haul, you get the same xp as with any other delivery. I don't understand why we don't get an 'extra bonus xp' for completing a heavy haul.
Issue 2) Flags, banners or beacons?
Want to take off the flags, banners or beacons for your regular deliveries? You have to go to the shop/dealer.
- Why not allow us to go to our garages to take them off and put them back on? Make the garage even more usable?
- Or even better make a hotkey to toggle them on/off.
Issue 3) The AI
The AI right now will honk at you at soon as the red light turns green. As well as the AI gets super close when coming to a turn instead of waiting a few yards back so that you don't hit a truck/car when making that extra wide turn. The AI should know this info when they see your beacons on.
I think the AI code hasn't been implemented yet for how big of a trailer you created nor the wideness of turns for it.
Issue 4) Photo Mode
When in photo mode to take a picture and your beacons are on. There is a beacon light bug that makes the light flare show above the truck.
Issue 5) Achievements
0 achievements? Oh c'mon.
