Eternal Threads Review (praguepride)

Chances are if you saw this and thought "man that looks interesting" then you'll like it. In the vein of "Obra Dinn" or "Life is Strange" you get to peep in on people's lives and make little tweaks here and there to see the ripple effects.
I though the overall presentation was solid, the character story arcs were satisfactory. Nobody was obnoxious and the writing wasn't cringy.
From some other reviews I'll address a few things:
1) There aren't that many locations and the house isn't that big. Moving from floor to floor can be a little tedious but I think it is an important part so that you can think about what you saw and what you might be seeing next. Just straight binge watching each vignette without a forced break I think would be unsatisfying.
2) Why these people? They don't really explain what your point is beyond a vague "if you save a person's life that is like a million descendants in a thousand years" or what not. I think the revelation with the "ultimate ending" gives a lot more clues as to why you're there. It isn't necessaraly about the flatmates themselves but the presence of a temporal anomaly that is why you are tasked with saving them.
3) I saw some critcisms about how the ripples make no sense but after unlocking every scene, I saw no glaring errors. Yes people react to the same news in different ways but i f you think about it logically everything makes perfect sense. Some of the more "mysterious" behaviors get explained once you've unlocked every secret or node. One character in particular I thought didn't have a lot going on until I ended up unlocking a huge string of revelations and then all that previous behavior made perfect sense.
