Elderand Review (ye olde inu ninja)
This felt like a worse version of Shovel Knight.
A worse version of Ender Lilies.
A worse version of SotN.
A worse version of Blasphemous.
A worse version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Have you already played ALL games of this type and are itching for something new?
Then I STILL can't recommend this, because of the clunky gameplay.
Attacking is slow, clunky and stops you in your tracks.
Your inputs don't get registered at certain points when walking on slopes.
Enemies don't flinch when hit and just run into you for damage.
Even if you are dying for a new metroidvania game, if you played any modern platformers (like Dead Cells), then you'll have a really tough time looking past the flawed gameplay.
I wanted to like this one, but eventually had to refund it...
