Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 - Extra Mission Pack Review (Gatorah)
I have just completed this DLC on hardest and i gotta say this definitely is far more balanced than whatever the hell dlc2 was in 6 xD
Some missions were kinda a joke like m15 which to be fair was to show off the new robo kaiju vehicle, but it is a great mission pack all around, I’d argue the best EDF one period!
That final mission too was PHENOMENAL! Very tough but fantastic!
I DO love that difficulty based rewards have truly come back though with the Positron cannon weapons. They pack a serious punch!
WB2 is definitively Yukes redemption arc for their EDF games. Started off very poorly with Iron Rain then improved with WB1 and now have really hit gold with WB2! I REALLY hope Sandlot or D3Publisher takes notes for the next mainline EDF entry with some of the mechanics, especially more in-depth weakpoints n creative enemies. Primer Centipedes, Invader Colonists, Ravager Scylla, Ravager Sideros and Aggressors Bees?! They all look amazing!
They fuckin nailed this game in the bag all around and this DLC is the icing on this amazing dessert
Ended on a much better note gameplay wise too compared to 6
Don't get me wrong I fucking afore 6 but dlc2 being the last thing you'd do left a sour taste in my mouth. It should have ended on something like this.
I definitely hope Yukes makes a World Brothers 3 and go beyond!
